The Lion’s Bluff Lodge Review

Lion’s Bluff Lodge is a popular tourist destination in Kenya. It is a part of the Tsavo National parks that are located along Nairobi/Mombasa road.

Lion’s Bluff is a unique lodge built at the edge of a bluff. Beneath the lodge is wide African savannah consisting of varied animals. They live in LUMO Community Wildlife Sanctuary.

Many former tourists prefer to call this lodge a paradise in the middle of nowhere.

The bandas, alternatively called tented huts, are beautifully constructed with corridors that face the massive lowlands beneath them.

The perspective provided from the bandas can be described as 360 degrees. A tourist is provided with a room that has clean water, comfortable beds, bathrooms and fashionable furniture.

Lion’s Bluff hospitable staff is committed to serve any tourists who have made a reservation in the facility. They provide excellent room services and make it their responsibility to mingle and interact with all guests.

The foods and drinks served at their old-fashioned bar located outside on a lush garden are extremely delicious. Among the staff members are drivers and game rangers who accompany visitors to the bush.

Elephants roam the plains in relatively big herds and they can be noticed even from the bandas. Other animals found here include buffaloes, leopards, lions, baboons, zebras and warthogs. Lion’s Bluff Lodge is also a home for many species of birds.

For the lovers of the nature, this place offers the most spectacular sky views in the morning and evenings. Sundowners on the ridge are common in this place. Some tourists also state in their comments that they had not seen the sky so beautifully sprinkled with stars prior to their visit.

If you are looking for a moment of meditation and silence in Africa you should surely spend a night or two at Lion’s Bluff Lodge. Be keen on suggesting this lodge to your travel operator.
