TSAVO CAMPS & LODGES
Tsavo East National Park is one of the world’s largest game reserves, providing undeveloped wilderness homes to vast numbers of animals. Famous are the Tsavo lions, a population of lions, were adult males often lack manes entirely. In total there are about 675 lions in the Amboseli-Tsavo ecosystem.
10 years ago the original Tarhi camp was founded by Margret and Trevor! Since 2 year the camp is running under the Sentrim Group! This little safari camp has 21 tents and is located in one of the richest game areas in the Tsavo East nationalpark. Surrounded by prairie and near the swamp kanderi offers the camp best prerequisites for a successful game viewing!
Ashnil Aruba Lodge lies in the heart of Tsavo East National Park in Kenya. Its location is superb, just a couple of hours from the coast of Mombasa, 5 hours leisurely drive from Nairobi and is located on the banks of Aruba Dam which was built in 1952 as a sport fishing recreational point in the park. Several watering holes nearby attract wildlife and spotting animals is easy because the park lies flat with savannah grassland.
Nestled in the heart of elephant country, Manyatta Camp is located in the grasslands of Tsavo East National Park, Kenya, just 8 Km off the main highway connecting the capital Nairobi to the coastal town of Mombasa. Manyatta Camp borders Tsavo East Park, one of Kenya’s largest game parks with spectacular views of nearby volcanic outcrops such as the Kasigau, Sagalla and Mwakingali Hills.
